The Buzz Continues To Grow!

Real Power For Black People!

Why are you waiting another second, another minute, another hour to put off the opportunity to become one of the most powerful individuals in the entire world?   Because quite frankly, as long as you haven't read the book you really don't know what power is, and more than likely never really will.

We already know that power is developed with deliberate effort, practice, understanding and application.  But IMPACT goes further than that, it not only provides the blueprint for power, it gives readers solutions for every problem that has ever existed in the Black community. And like any good social war strategist, the book anticipates future challenges presented by our opponents giving us solutions to counter these challenges with supreme precision and accuracy (sound historical analysis and astounding projections).  IMPACT doesn't gloss over issues in general terms, it addresses the problems that individuals face on their day-to-day journey, every day of their lives, as Black human beings in this world.  The only thing this book doesn’t do for you is breathe.  That is just how comprehensively wonderful it is.

This book not only asks and answers the question:  what is power?  It gives you the world's largest tools and resources imaginable for the Black Community to attain it.  But let us get back to that question.  What is power? This is a very important question for the Black community. The author and editors discovered that Black people couldn't consistently attain power largely because they truly didn't know what power was in the first place.  And if you think that you know what power is, I am telling you...think again. You will never look at your perception of power again after you read the book. For years, decades, centuries-even, Blacks weren't allowed to even think nor fathom that they could share power with their opponents. Leadership roles were not shared during slavery, managerial roles were given solely for mere pacification --allowing the managers to monitor and moderate the Black Community.  Those managerial roles provided no real power; managers were merely maintenance workers for the ruling class. The Black managers were there to maintain a system that devoured them and their community. So where could we possibly learn power? And who could we learn it from? To even think about power was a forbidden concept. And no one, not even the most amicable White person, was volunteering to share what power was.  Seeking freedom and getting power are two different things. So you have to ask yourself who really taught us power? What space and time during slavery and colonialization allowed us to fathom real power? What was passed down from generation to generation? Were the strategies provided by our leaders in the past --power tools or survival tools? And if we never knew power, was survival the only thing we were discussing? Was survival the only thing passed down to us? We really need to start thinking about that.

Now what makes this book even more relevant is this fact: what was considered or could've been considered "Black Power" in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s is no longer power for Blacks right now.   The landscape has changed, and the players have changed - and so should the strategies.  This book answers the call to be relevant and timely as it shares very modern and sophisticated methods of gaining power in this extremely cunning time, a time where all appears to be safe. IMPACT deals a devastating blow to any opponent of the Black community. It not only provides a step by step how to guide on how to gain power, it gives strategies to ensure that power is maintained and passed on.  Moreover, this book isn't a rhetorical account of what power is, or merely statistical data of what Blacks have already went through.  It is a fluid and engaging book that compels those who have the desire to lead, leave a legacy, make an impact - to do so.

There is not one reader that I talked to personally that said that they have put this book away on the shelf and forgot about it. Everyone that I have spoken with have said that they never close the book because this book provides ongoing resources and tools that accompanies them throughout their daily lives. Every person that  I have spoken with has read this book and has either said "at last" or "finally a real solution".  And I believe this is primarily because this book doesn't just rehash what we already know.  We already know about racism, drug abuse, crime, gangs, poverty, unfair discrimination, and the list can go on and on.  What we as a community consistently have a problem identifying with on a very collective and organized manner is -- the SOLUTIONS.  But here's another reason why I fell in love with this book, some of us have contemplated solutions, discussed possible reasons, but what good is having the solutions if you don't have the power to execute or act on any of them? To gain power is the most significant thing that the Black community must do, and it is in fact urgent.

Overwhelmingly what continues to persist is that no matter what  level of success a person had before the book, I am talking about the famous, semi-famous, to not so famous all shared that all say that they didn't understand power until now.

There are so many things that the book covers that it is hard to highlight which ones really stand out.  So I am going to point out the ones that we chose for the back of the book, but there are far more...

  • This book provides strategies for building personal iconic brands, successful business empires, healthy viable communities, and strong competitive nations.

There is so much more to this book...it could probably fill up 1,000 more websites. So what we have done is give you perspective from the readers, you can click here to go to the testimonial section, and on that section we have compiled some of the letters and have actually made them into a poster to show our appreciation.  We have a thumbnail view of some of the testimonials, but we encourage you to request it so that you can see the testimonials and also to show our readers that we appreciate their letters.

This book is truly explains what real power is for Black people.  I picked up the manuscript and couldn’t put it down; I immediately called my boss (publishing manager Hansan) at 3:51 am in the morning and kept repeating that he had to publish this, we all had to publish this.  I remember the exact time because I thought it would be the time I got fired. The next day, I sent the manuscript overnight.  People kept commenting on how I am so brilliant now.  But then, I didn't know if I was going to have a job. I guess life favors the bold because I kept my job, and over 2 million copies (word of mouth only!!!) later I am so grateful that this manuscript came to my desk.  I am so grateful that I met such a brilliant author, social scientist and scholar. And, I am so grateful that I was a part of such a phenomenal project.  I am re-reading the book for my 5th time.  And each time I learn a lot more about power because I read it with the same eyes that our readers do allowing me to learn more and more. I thought I knew power before reading the book, I had no idea. I am fortunate and blessed to be involved in helping bring this masterpiece and book of answers to you.  Here is to you and all of our Black people around the world..gaining power!
