Underground Railroad - an evening with Kathleen Battle event takes place on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 8pm, at the Music Center at Strathmore, 5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda, Maryland.

Superstar Kathleen Battle sings in a new program celebrating the roots of African-American music and freedom via the Underground Railroad. Battle’s sumptuous voice takes flight in this evening of enchanting music, featuring favorite and meaningful spirituals, hymns and musical majesty.
